The Jungle Books by Rudyard Kipling
Kipling lived in India as a child, and most of the stories seem to be set there. The Mowgli Stories can be associated with two national parks: The Kanha National Park, and Pench National Park were made famous by Kipling’s stories. Several of the stories, such as Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, were influenced by the Panchatantra and the Jataka Tales.
