The Trumpet of the Swan by E.B. White

The Trumpet of the Swan begins in Canada with a fluffy gray cignet named Louis, who later, after some time in Montana, returns to a camp in Ontario where he works for a stint.

Written by E.B. White.

Your choice of illustrator! (We went with the version illustrated by Edward Frascino)

Highly recommend the audio version narrated by E.B. White himself! His voice is amazing!

Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne

The bear that inspired the story of Winnie-the-Pooh was a black bear cub that was purchased by Lieutenant Harry Colebourn for $20 at the train station in the small lumber town of White River, Ontario. Colebourn took him to London but had to leave him at the London zoo during the war. There, he became a favorite of A.A. Milne’s son, Christopher Robin….and so it began….

Illustrated by E.H. Shepard (This version is newly colorized by Diego Jourdan Pereira)
