A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh and Felix Salten’s Bambi, The Story of Life in the Forest, move into the public domain this year, and already there are some pretty versions of both popping up! Happy Public Domain Day 2022!
Throughout 2021, as I’ve perused book stores, these titles have stood out to me…the most beautiful chapter books and story collections of 2021! List begins with classics and story collections and then moves on to newly released titles.
There have been some wonderful releases in the picture book world this year.
This blog is mainly about illustrated chapter books. However, non-fiction books make up a large share of our reading time. Here are a few that captured my attention this year!
Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima teamed up as MINALIMA to create these gorgeously illustrated and interactive, unabridged versions of various Children’s Classics, as well as the first two Harry Potters (so far). No doubt there will be more to come and I for one, cannot wait to see which title will be next!
