The Trumpet of the Swan, Charlotte's Web and Stuart Little by E.B. White
Elwyn Brooks White spent much of his life in Maine. He and his wife, Katherine, lived on a farm in North Brooklin, Maine, and it is here that he found inspiration for Charlotte’s Web.
For the Literary Traveler: Today, you can visit his Gravesite in Brooklin, Maine. Their wonderful farmhouse, which went up for sale in 2017 is a little over an hour away from me here in the Pine Tree State that I call home, and I plan to drive out there to see if it can be toured as I can’t find anything online about it. Will update this post then!
