In an attempt to redeem his Father’s honor, Louis works for a time in Boston, Massachusetts. We lived near Boston for a few years and it was great fun reading places that are well-known to us, such as Boston Public Gardens, in the story! Truth be told, Trumpet of the Swan is a great book for broadening geographical horizons as it spans the entirety of America and some of Canada as well.
