Original illustrator Roswitha Quadflieg is a perfect illustrator for Michael Ende’s The Neverending Story. However, it’s been almost 44 years and some new, full color, updated illustrations of an English version would be welcome! Little Women was written in two parts; the first being published on September 30, 1868, with illustrations by May Alcott, Louisa’s youngest sister. Since then, there has been no shortage of illustrated versions to choose from! Here are my favorites.
