Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren
Originally told to her daughter Karin to help her feel better while she was ill, Pippi Longstocking is one of Sweden’s most beloved characters in Children’s Fiction, and is the most famous of Astrid Lindgren’s work.
I had a time trying to figure out if this title was Swedish or Finnish, because it was first published in Finland, in the Swedish language. but in the end decided to do both.
